Like most small communities, Sylvania and the residents share a sense of pride in the stories, and the traditions that circulate throughout their town. Different stories about the bridge or different versions of Xanadu belong entirely to the people of the town. The spirits of those who haunt the bridge are said to appear in pictures in the form of orbs, and the old man who lives down the road, can sometimes be enough to chase people away before they even make the trip, strictly because of fear. Since most legends are considered to be true, the only way to distinguish the truth in these stories is to make a trip to the bridge to see for yourself.
